CUTE THANK YOU'S
A
NECKLACE OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
CUTE WAYS TO SAY THANK YOU ANY TIME OF THE YEAR
At the beginning of the year we gave each leader a necklace
with a trefoil cut out of wood and painted green. Then they were also given two beads to
put on each side of the necklace for the level troop they had. If they had more than one
troop they got beads for each of them.
| BLUE | DAISY | |
| ORANGE | BROWNIE | |
| GREEN | JUNIOR | |
| SILVER | CADETTE | |
| GOLD | SENIOR |
(The beads listed above they got because they were a leader)
Below are beads they had to earn:
| PINK | ATTEND SU MEETING | |
| RED | TOOK A BASIC TRAINING | |
| YELLOW | TOOK OUTDOOR TRAINING | |
| HEART SHAPE BEAD | VOLUNTEERED TO BE ON A COMMITTEE | |
| WHITE | CHAIRMAN OF A COMMITTEE |
You can come up with other bead to add, such as, took more than 5 trainings in a year, brought a craft idea to share, went a field trip every month, etc. At the end of the year the person with the most beads won a special prize. This was also a great way to give out additional thank you's to other people. For instance, give a prize to the person who served on the most committees. Person who took the most trainings, person who attended every SU meeting, etc.
