DOLLS IN MY COLLECTION
(I have been collecting dolls for about 2 years and have acquired most of them from e-bay.  If you are interested in the history of Girl Scout dolls, please e-mail me at gssherry@aol.com.

georgene.jpg (64489 bytes) Georgene Dolls produced in 1946.  These dolls are cloth dolls with mask faces.  They are approximately 13 inches tall.  The three rarest Georgene dolls are the black Georgene doll in a junior uniform, a red headed Brownie doll  and the Georgene Mariner Doll which was made in the early 50's.

Not sure about this doll.   I am guessing it is a Terri Lee Ginger Doll made around 1955.  Her dress has snaps for buttons and she stands approximately 7 inches tall.
uneeda60.jpg (88163 bytes) Uneeda Brownie doll made in 1959/60.  This doll is very small, stands approximately 7 inches tall.   Very sweet doll.  Uneeda also made a Junor doll.
cadette.jpg (92725 bytes) Official Cadette Girl Scout Doll.  This doll was made by Undeeda and can be found in the 1963 Girl Scout Catalog.   Doll stands approximately 11 inches tall.
fluffyjr65.jpg (105563 bytes) Effanbee Fluffy dolls.  These dolls can be found in the 1965 to the 1974 Girl Scout Catalogs.   These dolls stand approximately 8 inches tall.  I have had no trouble finding these dolls on e-bay.
fluffy2.jpg (136772 bytes) More Effanbee Fluffy dolls.  As you can see there were also Brownie dolls.  I have had trouble located a black Brownie Doll.  I know they are out there, but have not had the opportunity to find one.
fluffyjr.jpg (119544 bytes) These are two of my favorite dolls.  These too are Effanbee Fluffy dolls.  These first appeared in the 1974 Girl Scout Catalog.  There is also a Junior doll with blonde hair.  I have seen her, but do not have her.
jescojr.jpg (44759 bytes) Doll made by the Cameo Company in 1985.  She stands 9" tall and came with a Brownie outfit also.   The cloths are marked "Katie Clothes".  These dolls are very hard to find.  I have seen a blonde doll, but do not own it.
marionyu.jpg (69931 bytes) This doll was sold on the Home Shopping Club in 1989 and was made by Marion Yu Design Company.  She stands 19" tall.  She is not an official Girl Scout Doll.  This doll shows up on e-bay all the time.

alexander.jpg (104557 bytes)

Mademe Alexander Doll produced in 1992.  Production was stopped in 1992 so only a few were sold.  Doll is approximately 8 inches tall.  She came with either brown or blonde hair.
magicmillie.jpg (45815 bytes) This doll was used as a cookie premium.  She reminds me of the Magic Millie character that was used as a recruiting campaign in the mid 70's.  This doll is probably not an official doll, but she is cute.

brownienew.jpg (121649 bytes) This is a china doll wearing the new Brownie Uniform.  Uniform Doll cloths can be found at all of the Girl Scout shops.  I have just begun to collect these different uniforms and hope to be adding more to my collection soon.
