Tips for Effective Adult Recruitment
Recruit for the jobs you have
Always offer a position description
Be honest about the amount of time the position will require
Never use guilt tactics. Avoid the "Don't you care about your Children" approach
If a person can not do one task, see if there is another position she/he can do
Discover who in the community shares a common interest or goal and explore ways to work together
Recruit on the basis of serving girls, not serving the needs of adults or the organization
Be alert to opportunities to spread the Girl Scout message
